Don't you just love malas? They're typically made from 108 beads strung together with a large guru bead at the end- representing the completion of one prayer cycle- and often have tassels adorned at the bottom- symbolizing enlightenment,
Traditionally worn by monks to aid in their mantra meditation, malas have now become a staple in modern day spiritual practices (and yogi fashion trends).
I purchased this mala from the "Malasanmore" Etsy shop and am really diggin it. The beads are made from natural sandalwood and they smell beautifully rich and earthy.
So a little about citrine and why I chose it...
Citrine is the stone of manifestation, imagination, and personal will. It helps to open up your Solar Plexus Chakra- the energy distributer. Citrine also helps to release deep seated-fears and makes room for creativity, personal power and clarity of the mind and emotions.
Now who doesn't need a whole lotta that!
As you know, I've been in the process of making big shifts in my life- both externally and internally. A little bit of citrine and a lot of mantra meditation has helped me find the courage to dive and the magic to manifest all I want to happen.
