I rarely ever use red on my lips. I never quite seem to pull it off and truthfully, it's a bit messy and high maintenance for me. But lately, I've been seeing a lot of pregnant beauties sporting a bold red lip as their best accessory (aside from their bump) and it inspired me to give it another try.
As some of you mommas might know, somedays, it's hard to feel hot when you're pregnant. You don't fit the clothes that make you feel like you. Your chin is becoming plural. Skinny jeans are a thing of the past. And, the waddling...oh boy, the waddling.
So, when I saw that GP was teaming up with Juice Beauty and that there were some really versatile lip products with a few great red options, I jumped on it- day one of launch.
In the photo, I'm wearing the Luminous Lip Crayon in Zuma. This by far is my favorite product of the bunch. The Crayon is so easy to put on, feels light on my lips and stays put.
My second fave is the Liquid Lip in Cameron (yes, after Cameron Diaz). As you can see from the swatch photo, it's a brighter red and totally glossy. It's definitely more "difficult" to use but I love the color so much it might be worth it.
The Satin Lip Cream is a typical moisturizing lip stick. No fuss. I bought it in Sonoma and it's just ok for my skin tone...probably a shade too light. It goes on a bit more matte than the Lip Crayon and wears slightly more heavy.
Just for shits and giggles, I also bought their Glowing Cheek Color in Pink (not a GP colab). It just popped out at me and I needed to have it. I absolutely love it! It's very pigmented, has a nice subtle sparkle to it and leaves your cheeks with a baby rose flush.
I confess, I'm a huge GP fan and will try almost anything she suggests. Glad I did. Loving my Zuma.
