I had an oh shit moment when I recently ran out of my holy grail SPF. I've been using Pratima Skincare for a while now and love everything about it. But I've also been hearing so many great things about Josh Rosebrook's Nutrient Day Cream that I took the opportunity to try something new and take advantage of my membership discount as a Beauty Heroes member- 15% off baby!
Now, I've tried TONS of toxin free SPF's. Sadly, almost all of them (except my holy grail) had some major con to it- white cast, too thick, too oily, not strong enough, etc.
I had high hopes for the Nutrient Day Cream and I gotta say it met my expectations...and then some. Like my holy grail SPF- it's light, doesn't leave a white cast, is SPF 30, clean and has bonus skin boosting ingredients. An additional perk to Josh's is that it also smells like vanilla herbs. I hate it when SPF smells like SPF and Josh's smells (faintly) like cake!
For those of you who have acne prone skin the neem oil in Pratima's might do you some good. But my skin has been very happy since pregnancy and post so I feel confident enough to change it up a bit and am so glad I did! This will definitely be my SPF all summer.
