Some of you may know (either from my About page or just from following Eighth + Wild) that I'm into all things healing. However, something that you may not know is that I also fancy myself a healer. It's not something I've shared a lot about on Eighth + Wild....in the past, I've talked mostly about green beauty and my obsession with toxin free deodorant. However, in recent months, you may have noticed that I've been writing more and more about the Spirit. Whether it's through my Tarot Readings on Instagram or my ramblings about life, light and our shadow self, my desire to elevate vibrations and shift perspectives is ready to come out and play.
I received my Masters in Social Work from Fordham University in 2009 and until recently, was a practicing clinical social worker in the Lower East Side. About three year ago, I began my training to be a Handel Group Life Coach and have now been a Staff Coach with them for almost a year. Yes, it's a long training process and totally transformative. I am stronger, brighter, lighter because of it. It also lead me to seek different forms of healing, different ways of approaching the Work. I started meditating daily, developed a strong yoga practice, started to play with crystals, tinker with tarot and fell in love with Flower Essences. I also read and read and read. I was raised Buddhist and took this opportunity to dive deeper into my understanding, studied Taoism and devoured A Course In Miracles.
It's been a long journey through the dark. A worthy one. A warriors one. And it has lead me here.
