Anyone who's familiar with Asian skincare products knows about the weirdly effective and unexplainable peeling cleansers. I used to be obsessed, but when I cleaned up my beauty act...I had to chuck them all. So, when I discovered Organic Mineral Peel, I was excited to see how it held up to it's dirty competitors.
For those of you who haven't heard of "peeling cleansers," they're basically milky cleansers that you're supposed to massage off your skin. Following?
As you massage the product onto/off of your skin...the product will start to congeal and ball up. Some say it's your dead skin, some say it's the dirt and makeup...it's probably a little bit of both and a lot of science.
But, the results are amazing. It's like you had a mini- gentle chemical peel. My skin is squeaky clean and smooth- like a baby's butt.
This cleaner version is definitely a great replacement. The only thing I don't love is the spray packaging. The Asian brands typically come in pump bottles which give you a lot more control. I'm always afraid that I'll spray this in my eye! However, it definitely gets the job done and there's something oh so satisfying about seeing those little balls of whatever fall off your face and into the sink, revealing baby butt skin.
