I first tried Sanitas Skincare over 5 years ago at Dangene (best facial ever if you're rich...or have friends who work at the Core Club and can hook you up- my route). At the time, I was still very much into "dirty beauty" and though I liked the simplicity of their ingredients, I didn't yet fully appreciate it.
Well, a few years later and I'm here baby.
Full disclosure, the company was nice enough to send me this entire routine to test. Full disclosure, after just a few months of use, I will be repurchasing almost everything that they sent me.
The company believes in alternating between "active ingredients" and "resting ingredients".
Here's what they say...
So, 2-3 times a week I use the active Lactic Cleanser and rotate in the resting Lemon Cream Cleanser on the other days. When using my active cleanser, I also use the Hydrating Toner- which is supposed to be a "resting toner". However, this stuff's powerful. I apply it with a cotton pad and my skin tingles afterwards- like dead skin is sizzling off- I love that feeling.
This and the Moisture Mist- which I use to dampen my skin and help other products skink in better- are hands down my favorites from the line and perhaps even my favorite toners ever- and I like toners.
Moisture Mist: Distilled Water, Beta Glucan, NaPCA, Lonicera Caprifolium Flower Extract, Lonicera Japonica Flower Extract, Sodium Levulinate, Sodium Anisate, Hyaluronic Acid.
The Vitamin C Moisturizer is a really light weight, but surprisingly hydrating lotion- great for acne or oily skin. I love using it with my favorite face oil at the time.
For those of you who are die hard green and clean- make sure to do your due diligence if you're curious about this line. Some of their products contain fragrance...but most don't. Their philosophy is to only use "Biogenic Ingredients" no parabens or preservatives.
